Ondřej Synek - biography
The 5-time single sculls world champion and 3-time Olympic medallist is the best rower in Czech history. He started rowing at age 13 and for the first time competed at an international competition, the Junior World Championship, 5 years later. In 2010 he became the first rower in Czech history to win a World Championship in an Olympic discipline. His achievements also include 9 World Cup ranking wins, 5 European champion titles and 3 wins in the “Pražské primátorky” rowing race.
