Martina Sáblíková - biography

Martina Sáblíková is one of the greatest Czech athletes of all time. The 3-time Olympic champion has been active on the international speed skating scene since 2002 and still ranks among the world’s elite. Her achievements to date include standing on the podium at 14 successive world championships and earning 30 World Championship medals and 12 Four Continent Championship medals.

She currently holds 2 world records in both the senior and junior categories. She has also been successful in road cycling, becoming a 5-time Czech champion in individual time trials and a 3-time champion in the mass start competition.
